While the hotel itself was pleasant—clean rooms, helpful staff, and a comfortable atmosphere—my experience was soured by a dishonest encounter at the barbershop inside the hotel. I requested a specific grooming service, but the staff deliberately performed additional treatments I did not ask for, aggressively upselling without consent. When finished, I was shocked by a bill of 775 AED. There was no visible price list, and they added a 5% charge claiming it was a “Dubai tax.” I initially wasn’t given a receipt—only a card slip. After insisting, I was handed a receipt under a completely different business name. This all happened in front of the manager and owner of the barbershop, who remained silent. It felt like a deliberate scam targeting unsuspecting hotel guests. I reported the incident to hotel reception, and the hotel manager followed up personally and showed genuine concern, which I truly appreciated. However, the existence of such a vendor within a respected hotel like Dusit Thani undermines guest trust. In summary, the hotel is lovely, but my stay was tainted by a deceptive and unethical barbershop operating on the premises. I urge hotel management to reconsider their association with this business to protect future guests.

Summary: Good location for conference hall nearby. Friendly and attentive staff. Bear in in mind its a dry hotel- so no alcohol, so making the executive lounge offering that less attractive

Summary: I was dissapointed that management never contacted me to extend my stay for 28 days when I asked twice to discuss - no follow up. Beautiful hotel nice staff on prem good food. No alcohol so good for cleansing. Breakfast was disappointing not worth the price

Summary: The Dusit Thani is my go to hotel in Dubai. If you are visiting the DIFC for business it is less than 10 mins walk from Gate Avenue which then takes you into the DIFC and access to all the main offices. Saves loads of time waiting for taxis or sitting in the huge traffic jams. The hotel is dry which suits me personally. Rooms are very comfortable, nice towels, decent toilet paper and a fantastic gym.
